TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the procurement is the design and construction of multi-storey residential buildings in Helsinki’s Kaarela as a fixed-price SR contract, including overall design and building engineering works in addition to all LVISA works. The SR contract includes: - Plot 33367/1, Heka Honkasuo Perhosenkierto 29 The design work may be started after the signing of the framework agreement. The estimated start date for the construction work is 10/2027. The buildings may also be implemented as hybrid structures by means of a deviation decision procedure, when the buildings’ carbon footprint can be demonstrated to meet the requirements using the calculation methods presented in Appendix No 24 of the SR contract programme. The procurement is not divided into lots, because a model involving multiple suppliers would result in an inappropriate contract package for schedule management and coordination of the works.
