TENDER DESCRIPTION

Ida-Ehre School Bad Oldesloe, a comprehensive school with upper secondary level, is to be expanded at its "Olivet-Allee" site. As part of an urban-planning analysis, an unpaved open space in the north-east of the school grounds was selected. This building plot is connected to Olivet-Allee and Hamburger Straße. The additional need for usable floor area for specialist and upper secondary classes as well as for students’ areas for staying and leisure activities was determined in a feasibility study. In addition, the new building is also intended to include rooms for music instruction and school social work. The plan is for a three-storey stepped structure with a gross floor area of approx. 1,650 m2 and a usable floor area of approx. 1,100 m2, plus 200 m2 of terrace on the 1st floor. Renovation measures: In a marginal position, located at the unattractive rear side of the existing sports hall, it is difficult to establish spatial relationships to existing building ensembles.
