TENDER DESCRIPTION

With the overall project “Creating an attractive living environment and strengthening tourism development at Lake Geiseltalsee – Neumark Beach”, the contracting authority aims to strengthen sustainably the region around Lake Geiseltalsee. With the expansion of the infrastructure, tourism appeal is to be strengthened at the same time and family appeal is to be improved, and the conditions are to be strengthened for people in the region as a place to live and for recreation. The overall project consists of three individual projects, which comprise the development of the beaches Frankleben and Neumark and a new build of the day-care centre “Sonnenschein” within the city of Braunsbedra. In combination, all three sub-projects “Neumark Beach”, “Frankleben Beach” and the day-care centre “Sonnenschein” are expected to generate high synergy effects for the attractiveness of the area, in particular with regard to gaining residents (in-migration).
