TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject matter is the award of construction-supervising planning and engineering services and construction services for the establishment of a broadband network infrastructure in the municipality of Ingelfingen. In 2025, the municipality of Ingelfingen received a Gigabit 2.0 funding notice for the Federal government’s operator model, with co-financing by the state of Baden-Württemberg. Due to the funding requirements, construction must begin no later than 28.04.2027. On the basis of market sounding, a total of 785 eligible address points were identified. The master plan presented for this purpose provides for the new construction of approximately 41,000 route metres as well as the installation of 28 additional RVt units and 9 POPs. In addition, empty conduits and/or cables are to be installed in existing cable protection duct (conduit) routes over approximately 19,000 metres. In a further approximately 3,500 metres of existing multi-duct bundles, cables are to be installed.
