Description: The service to be awarded comprises the collection, franking and the nationwide and international carriage and delivery of postal items (including dialog mail) of all kinds of the contracting authority (physical mail dispatch) up to an individual item weight of 2,000 grams. The carriage of postal items in standard format (so-called standard letter mail) is the main subject matter of the postal services to be provided. Delivery-agreement assignments are not the subject of the procedure. Further lots are not being tendered. The lots 2 (physical delivery-agreement assignment) and 3 (physical parcel post and package dispatch) specified in the original tender have already been awarded. The predominant part of the physical mail (more than 90 percent) goes to recipients in the postal code range 78XXX.
