TENDER DESCRIPTION
In order to ensure attractiveness as a residential and business location in the future, the City of Pocking (hereinafter “the contracting authority”) intends to further improve broadband provision in the city and thus achieve area-wide gigabit coverage. To achieve this objective, the contracting authority has already carried out the following procedural steps as part of the Federal Gigabit Funding Programme 2.0 (2025): - sector dialogue - market consultation procedure - submission of funding application. On 18.11.2025, the contracting authority received the decision on a federal grant for an economic viability gap model under the guideline “Funding to support the gigabit expansion of telecommunications networks in the Federal Republic of Germany” (Gigabit-Richtlinie 2.0) of 13.01.2025.
