TENDER DESCRIPTION
The primary school Johannesschule in Sundern (Grünewaldstr. 13, 59846 Sundern) intends to expand its all-day open offer and also to make restructuring within the existing building. For the expansion of the all-day offer, a 2- or 3-storey new building is to be erected between the gymnasium and the existing building. The previously covered open entrance area will be converted into a foyer with a post-and-beam façade, and the existing extension building will be partly rebuilt. The existing extension building is a 2-storey solid/concrete skeleton construction from 1982 on the ground and first floors, and the second floor was added in 2007 using timber construction. The ground floor of the new building to be erected will house the social facilities for the gymnasium (equipment rooms, teachers’ rooms as well as changing rooms, showers, and toilets). There will also be a passage from the upper front schoolyard to the rear playground. Through this passage, a new stairwell, the new social facilities, and the boys’/girls’ toilets in the existing building can be accessed.
