TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the award is the conclusion of a framework agreement with a capable contractor that coordinates the organizational, technical and contractual handling of bicycle leasing and ensures the involvement of an approved leasing company as well as suitable insurance companies. The aim is a legally secure, economical and user-friendly procedure with as little administrative effort as possible for the contracting authority. The processes are to be carried out digitally, transparently and in the German language. Employees and officials are to be able to access a broad network of dealers, reliable insurance and inspection services, as well as comprehensive coverage in cases of premature termination. The start of operational services is expected to be on 1 January 2027. The implementation and onboarding phase begins after the contract is effective. Between the contract becoming effective and the start of operational services, there is an implementation period of several weeks.
