TENDER DESCRIPTION

1. Rationale and objectives: In the south of the state capital Wiesbaden there is the development area of the urban development development measure Ostfeld. The approximately 450-hectare site (Figure 1) is defined as the Landeshauptstadt Wiesbaden’s long-term development area and is to be developed for both residential construction and for services and commercial uses. In a first step, the Landeshauptstadt Wiesbaden intends to draw up a zoning plan for the northern part of the urban development development area. On these areas mainly used for agriculture in the Wiesbaden district of Erbenheim, a central authorities site for the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) is to be established. The BKA currently uses various properties within the city area. The resolution to prepare the zoning plan “Bundeskriminalamt” was adopted on 02.04.2025. The land-use plan for this area is to be amended in parallel proceedings.
