Stadtsicherung Bitterfeld: Erneuerung der Rohrleitungen zur Ableitung der Hebungswässer im Sicherungsbereich 9 (Friedhof)

TENDER DESCRIPTION

In the city of Bitterfeld-Wolfen, groundwater has risen again due to the cessation of open-cast lignite mining and the end of the associated dewatering measures, as well as due to other influences. As a result of the groundwater rising, there were risks in the affected districts of Bitterfeld for people, nature and property assets. Security measures to protect buildings and infrastructure in the Bitterfeld district were necessary. The measures concept of the City Protection project aims to ensure adequate horizontal distances of the groundwater level in order to prevent any hazard to existing development/usage. This is achieved through a combination of targeted expansion, operation and maintenance of the water-discharge flow channels, groundwater lowering by means of drains and wells, and structural safety measures for individual buildings. In this context, within the scope of the measures concept 2019 ff. for security zone 9 – cemetery, it was derived that this represents a focus of the City Protection project with a lifting volume of approx. 250,000 m³/a.
