TENDER DESCRIPTION

Project description: Since 2025, the district "Waldkolonie/Akazienweg" has been part of the federal-state program "Social Cohesion." This is an opportunity to improve the quality of life and residential conditions in a disadvantaged district with funds from the federal government, the state of Hesse, and the scientific city of Darmstadt. Social and urban development challenges can be addressed, and the coexistence of residents can be strengthened. In the coming years, targeted measures will be implemented to make the living environment more attractive, improve social infrastructure, and sustainably strengthen the district. At the beginning of 2026, two planning offices were commissioned to develop an Integrated Urban Development Concept - briefly ISEK. The work is carried out in coordination with the scientific city of Darmstadt and broad participation of residents in the neighborhood. The completed ISEK is to be submitted to the city council for approval at the end of 2026. It will then form the binding basis for development in the coming years.
