For the comprehensive development of the new Hafner district in Konstanz, a new substation is essential. The substation will be connected on the primary side to SWK’s 110 kV ring cable grid. On the feeder side, the substation is intended to serve as a 20 kV distribution network node for both the new district and the suburbs. In addition to the electrical equipment normally required for a substation, the project also includes the enclosures defined by the contracting authority, including all customary ancillary facilities and fencing. The planning services also extend to the primary- and secondary-side connection to the line networks associated with a substation. In doing so, it is necessary to take into account the special features of the local urban environment and its environmental conditions, including all performance specifications and framework plans accompanying the construction project.
