TENDER DESCRIPTION
Fraport AG Frankfurt Airport Services Worldwide ("Fraport") operates Frankfurt/Main Airport and, in addition, operates several other airports, terminals and service companies worldwide either on its own or together with third parties. Fraport plans the complete spatial reorganization of the area of the high hall B middle in Terminal 1, together with the adjacent shopping areas "Avenue" and "Boulevard". The project area extends over levels E02, E03 and E04 in Terminal 1, Building 203 of Frankfurt Airport, and comprises approximately 16,000 m2 of floor area. The implementation will be carried out in several construction phases. The contractor must carry out technically interlinked steel construction and reinforced concrete works. This includes the fabrication and closing of larger ceiling openings in reinforced concrete, which in most cases require additions to the steel structure of the building located under the solid ceilings. In addition, the contractor shall produce various steel structures on the roof surfaces as mounting frames and maintenance platforms, e.g. for air extractors, as well as as complete enclosures for ventilation units.
