Fraport AG Frankfurt Airport Services Worldwide ("Fraport") operates Frankfurt/Main Airport and, in addition, worldwide operates several other airports, terminals and service companies either alone or together with third parties. At Terminal 1, Fraport plans the complete spatial reorganization of the area of the high hall B Mitte along with the adjacent shopping areas "Avenue" and "Boulevard". The project area extends over levels E02, E03 and E04 in Terminal 1, building 203 of Frankfurt Airport, and comprises approximately 16,000 m2 of floor area. The implementation will be carried out in several construction phases. The contractor must carry out technically linked steel construction and reinforced concrete works. This includes the fabrication and sealing of larger ceiling openings in reinforced concrete, which for the most part require additions in the steel structure of the building located beneath the massive ceilings.
