TENDER DESCRIPTION

A total of 35 tree beds (lot 1-8 units/lot 2-12 units/lot 3-15 units) are planted with ground-covering shrubs. As part of the excavation of the planting pits, the existing shrubs in the area of the planting pit must be collected, loaded and disposed of. This additional difficulty must be included in the corresponding item of performance. The object lists with the location details as well as overview maps and detail plans at a scale of 1:1,000 in PDF format, in which the trees are shown as point objects, are provided by the contracting authority. The service specification (LV) is divided into three lots, assigned to the organisational units of Grün und Gruga Essen. Lot 1 covers the south-east and the city centre (districts I, VII and VIII), lot 2 covers the south-west (districts II, III and IX) and lot 3 covers the north (districts IV, V and VI). In lot 1, approx. 1,200 cm of root stumps are to be milled and 44 trees are to be planted; in lot 2, approx. 1,300 cm of root stumps are to be milled and 37 trees are to be planted; in lot 3, approx. 2,300 cm of root stumps are to be milled and 65 trees are to be planted.
