TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject matter of this procurement is the operation management of public lighting facilities in the city of Pfungstadt (approx. 2,100 light points). The future contractor shall carry out the operation, maintenance, repair and fault clearance, renewal and expansion, and the new installation as well as removal of electrical street lighting systems within the area of the city of Pfungstadt during the term of the contract. As the operator, the future contractor assumes responsibility for the safe operation and the safe condition of the lighting facilities. In addition, the contractor will be commissioned with any required services related to street lighting. These include the installation and operation of a new lighting control system, as well as the implementation of energy efficiency investments at the start of the contract. For the purpose of providing the lighting service, the municipality grants the contractor a right of use to the lighting facilities necessary for lighting success, to the extent required in order to fulfil the contractual obligations.
