Additionally, Quality Gate (QG) milestones are part of the contract timeline. QG 1 occurs at the start of service delivery, while QG 2 happens during the service execution, ideally midway through the contract duration. For contracts exceeding one year, multiple QG 2s are recommended. All QG AN dates must be established as milestones within 30 calendar days following the contract award.

The core scope of work for this tender primarily involves the comprehensive construction phase planning for the corridor renovation at the Frankfurt (Oder) junction. The objective is to determine essential construction phases, while considering traffic management and maintaining operational activities throughout the construction period. This includes the implementation of ETCS and the interlocking system upgrade for VzG-Strecke 6153/6155, extending from Hangelberg, through Frankfurt (Oder), to Oderbrücke.

Key deliverables and tasks include:

• Leading and documenting up to 10 meetings related to construction phase planning.
• Providing textual input for the explanatory report, which encompasses a concise, chronological account of activities during main construction phases and integrating relevant activities from other trades.
• Ongoing coordination of the construction phase planning and conception with all critical project stakeholders, such as specialist planners (LST + KTB, EEA/50Hz OLA, platforms, level crossings and track, KIB), construction operation planners, construction operation coordinators, project management, and connecting parties.
• Topographical representation of track systems, construction fields, LST/ETCS, cable civil engineering, overhead lines, track, platforms, level crossings/traffic facilities, structural civil engineering, and construction site setup areas, including access routes, with continuous updates.
• Developing, coordinating, and preparing cross-trade construction phase planning and concepts in accordance with the client's regulations and work instructions.
• Creating a graphical representation of the construction phase planning, including the depiction of operational management and significant availability restrictions with textual explanations.
• Consideration of multi-year and annual construction operation planning.
• Producing a framework construction schedule (path-time diagram) that illustrates the entire construction duration, lists relevant activities with and without availability restrictions, and logically links activities as predecessor-successor relationships.
• Determining the time required for services from affected trades and assigning them to existing registered blocking periods.
• Comparing existing blocking period registrations with the identified needs across all involved trades and construction projects.
• Forming practical construction sections within registered blocking periods, ensuring that each section is assigned to only one executing party.
• Contributing to the construction logistics concept.
• All services must be comprehensive enough to ensure the success of the work contract, including any implicit services necessary for achieving the desired outcome, even if not explicitly detailed in Annex 1.
• Deliverables such as drawings, descriptions, calculations, and other elaborations must be provided in editable, open, and native digital formats (e.g., *.docx, *.xlsx, *.pptx, *.dwg, *.dxf, *.shp, *.kmz, *.X83) and in *.pdf format, on suitable data carriers.

Explicitly excluded from the scope is the technical registration of blocking periods (Sperrpausenanmeldung).
