The hospital campus houses the facilities of the Universitätsklinikum des Saarlandes and the Faculty of Medicine of Saarland University. These are located in more than 100 buildings arranged in pavilion construction. More than 50,000 inpatients and over 230,000 outpatients are treated and cared for at the UKS each year.
