    TENDER DESCRIPTION

The objective of the study on the near-natural management of the Legnitzka and the Braunsteichgraben is to derive cost-efficient measures or combinations of measures with the help of the planning instrument "Project and Rehabilitation Plan," considering all relevant pollution factors identified in the water bodies (OWK) of the Legnitzka and the Braunsteichgraben (point sources, diffuse sources, water withdrawals, flow regulations, and morphological changes, other anthropogenic impacts), the implementation of which, according to current knowledge, will lead to achieving the objectives of "good ecological status" and "good chemical status" within the deadline set in the management plan. In doing so, the interactions between the individual OWKs (e.g. upstream and downstream OWKs) (such as material transport, fish passability) as well as with groundwater bodies (GWK) (e.g. material pollution from groundwater) must be taken into account. When deriving measures to achieve the objectives, the principles of proportionality and avoidance of excess must be observed. Therefore, the effectiveness of the measures or combinations of measures must be comprehensibly, logically, and…
