TENDER DESCRIPTION

The aim of the study on the near-natural management of the Legnitzka and the Braunsteichgraben is to derive cost-efficient measures or combinations of measures with the help of the planning instrument "Project and Remediation Plan," taking into account all relevant pollution factors identified in the water bodies (OWK) of the Legnitzka and the Braunsteichgraben (point sources, diffuse sources, water abstractions, flow regulations and morphological changes, other anthropogenic impacts), whose implementation according to current knowledge will lead to achieving the objectives of "good ecological status" and "good chemical status" within the deadline set in the management plan. The interactions of the individual water bodies among each other (upstream OWK/downstream OWK) (e.g., material transport, fish passage) as well as with groundwater bodies (GWK) (e.g., material pollution from groundwater) must also be considered. When deriving the measures to achieve the objectives, the principle of proportionality and the ban on excess must be observed.
