TENDER DESCRIPTION

The objective of the study for the improvement of the water quality of the Lusatian Neisse is to derive cost-efficient measures or measure combinations with the aid of the planning instrument "Project and Remediation Plan," considering all relevant pollution factors identified in the water bodies Lausitzer Neisse LN-3 to LN-10 (point sources, diffuse sources, water extractions, flow regulations and morphological changes, other anthropogenic impacts), whose implementation according to current knowledge leads to achieving the goals of "good ecological status" or "good ecological potential" and "good chemical status" within the period specified in the management plan. The interactions between the individual water bodies (upstream water body/downstream water body) (e.g., material transport, fish passage) as well as with groundwater bodies (GWBs) (e.g., material pollution from groundwater) must also be taken into account.
