The contract duration is 4 years. The contract execution period will begin 2 months after the award. Within 5 weeks of the award, the infrastructure must be installed and operational in two floors of the building. The contract cannot be extended.

The core scope of work for this tender involves the supply, commissioning, and maintenance of the necessary infrastructure to provide patient entertainment and hospital-patient communication services in the 168 rooms of the new hospitalization building at the Hospital Clínico Universitario de Valencia. This includes all services required for its operation over a four-year period, as well as user support.

Specifically, the main tasks are:

• Supply, installation, configuration, and commissioning of TV screens and their accessories (supports, remote controls) in all 168 rooms.
• Supply, installation, configuration, and commissioning of the antenna network infrastructure and internet connection required for the service.
• Provision of interconnection elements, network electronics, and any additional cabling needed to utilize the existing structured cabling (Ethernet Category 6a and fiber optics).
• Supply, installation, configuration, and commissioning of a software platform for TV management and operation. This platform must include centralized administration tools, content distribution, device management, SmartRoom functionalities, and all necessary licenses for the contract's duration. Crucially, the software must incorporate hospital-patient communication features.
• Supply, management, and maintenance of the servers required for the proposed solution, along with any necessary software licenses.
• Comprehensive maintenance of the entire technological platform, encompassing both hardware and software. This includes preventive and corrective maintenance, replacement or repair of devices, accessories, spare parts, and consumables, software updates, and unlimited remote support, all in compliance with established service levels.
• Provision of user support services 365 days a year.
• Legal capture and distribution of television programs and streaming/internet content to all installed receivers for user viewing.
• Dissemination of content provided by the hospital, such as information, messages, videos, or programs deemed of interest to users and patients.
• The bidder is responsible for providing all hardware and software equipment for the proposed solution.
• User-accessible elements must be designed with materials that allow for cleaning and disinfection in accordance with hospital protocols.
