TENDER DESCRIPTION

With the remote meter-reading system, it will be possible to improve knowledge of consumption, optimise operation of the network, reduce losses, detect leaks and incidents at an early stage, and strengthen the municipality’s resilience to the effects of climate change. &#13 The planned scope includes 8,248 smart meters, distributed across the urban area, residential districts (barriadas), annexes (anejos) and industrial areas of the municipality, as well as the implementation of the communications infrastructure and data management needed to ensure the proper management of the system.&#13 This solution will enable:&#13 -Reducing operational costs of manual reading by 80-90%, with the corresponding &#13 decrease in the carbon footprint. &#13 -Detecting leaks in real time, reducing water losses.&#13 -Identifying abnormal consumption and fraud.&#13 -Improving invoicing through precise and up-to-date readings.&#13 -Optimising management of the distribution network. &#13 -Providing information to users to manage their consumption. &#13 -Meeting water sustainability objectives With the remote meter-reading system, it will be possible to improve knowledge of consumption, optimise…
