TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contract includes structural engineering according to § 51 HOAI (2021) for the new construction of the Energy Center (EZ) in the geothermal project Virginia Depot (VD). The EZ provides district heating from renewable energies and is an essential milestone for the heat transition of the LHM. The facility is to produce up to 110 MW/th. The EZ is supplied with geothermal heat via a thermal water pipeline (TWT) approximately 350 m long from the UTA; further functional areas include the 110 kV customer installation (in the east) with the medium-voltage system and frequency converters as well as the low-voltage main distribution board (NSHV) with transformers / frequency converters, etc., the heat exchangers and large heat pumps (in the north) with the corresponding thermal water and district heating distribution and the general pipeline construction, as well as the cooling machines with the cooling towers (on the roof floor) and the general social rooms (in the upper floors).
