TENDER DESCRIPTION
The contract award includes the structural planning according to § 51 HOAI (2021) for the new construction of the energy center (EZ) in the geothermal project Virginia Depot (VD). The EZ supplies district heating from renewable energies and is a significant milestone for the heat transition of the LHM. The facility is designed to produce up to 110 MW/th. The EZ is supplied with geothermal heat via a thermal water pipeline (TWT) of approx. 350 m length from the UTA; other functional areas include the 110 kV customer facility (in the east) with the medium voltage system and frequency converters as well as the low voltage main distribution boards (NSHV) with transformers / frequency converters, etc., the heat exchangers and large heat pumps (in the north) with the corresponding thermal water and district heating distribution and general pipeline construction, as well as the chillers with the cooling towers (on the roof) and the general social rooms (in the upper floors). Additionally, a photovoltaic system is to be planned on the greened roof. The floor area of the EZ according to the client's concept is approx. +3,300 m².
