TENDER DESCRIPTION

The scope of services covers the planning of Technical Equipment according to § 55 HOAI (2021) for the new construction of the Energy Center (EZ) in the inner-city geothermal project "Virginia Depot." The EZ serves as a heat station for the generation of district heating from renewable energies and represents a significant milestone for the heat transition of the state capital Munich in the northern part of Munich. The facility is intended to generate up to 110 MWth. The supply is provided via an approximately 350 m long thermal water pipeline (TWT) from the southern drilling site of the underground facility (UTA) with 4 doublets (DN 350). The required district heating supply temperature is achieved through the use of large heat pumps. The contract includes the integral, cross-trade planning of the Technical Equipment including the coordination of all interfaces to UTA, TWT, site development, district heating network, structural engineering/structural framework/fire protection as well as the 110-kV customer facility.
