TENDER DESCRIPTION

The scope of services includes fire protection planning in accordance with AHO Volume No. 17 (2023) for the new construction of the Energy Centre (EZ) in the Virginia Depot (VD) geothermal project. The EZ provides district heating from renewable energies and is an essential milestone for the thermal energy transition (Wärmewende) of LHM. The plant is intended to generate up to 110 MW/th. The EZ is supplied with geothermal heat via a thermal water pipeline route (TWT) of approx. 350 m in length from the underground plant (UTA); further functional areas are the 110 kV customer facility (to the east) with the MV plant and frequency converters as well as the NSHV with transformers / FC units, etc., the heat exchangers and large heat pumps (to the north) with the corresponding thermal water and district heating distribution and general pipework construction, as well as the chiller plants with the dry coolers (on the DG) and the general social rooms (on the OGs). A PV system is also to be planned on the green DG. In the client’s (AG) concept, the EZ has a gross floor area (basic footprint) of approx. +3,300 m2.
