TENDER DESCRIPTION

The present construction measure will implement construction phase I of the tram west tangent between Laimer roundabout / south portal of the environmental transport tunnel (UVR) at S-Bahn station Laim and Romanplatz. The subject of this tender is the construction of the tram track and operating facilities including connections to existing track facilities, the new construction and conversion of stop/station facilities as well as the adaptation of adjacent road traffic facilities. The work will be carried out both in the inner-city street area along Wotanstraße as well as within the environmental transport tunnel. The construction measure essentially includes: -> New construction of approx. 2.1 km of double-track tram line, of which approx. 200 m in the tunnel (UVR), -> New construction and/or conversion of 3 stop/station facilities, -> Construction and conversion of approx. 20,000 m² of traffic areas including carriageways, footpaths and cycle paths, -> Construction of drainage facilities as well as cable protection duct and infrastructure routes, -> Adaptation and connection to existing traffic and track facilities.
