TENDER DESCRIPTION

Provision of social services for residents of Drobin Commune by running a self-help club for persons aged 65+ threatened with or diagnosed with dementia in 2027 The project is a direct continuation of the task implemented in 2026. In view of the growing social demand and the proven effectiveness of the actions carried out so far, we plan to continue the operation of the Self-Help Club in 2027. The obtained grant will allow continuity of professional support for seniors, preventing regression of cognitive functions and social isolation. Experience from the project implementation to date and observations of the local environment have shown a worrying trend: neurodegenerative diseases and dementia disorders are affecting younger and younger people. To respond to this real social need, the age criterion for participants has been lowered from 75+ to 65+. Early care and therapy for persons at an earlier stage of the disease provides significantly higher effectiveness in slowing down dementia processes, allowing seniors to remain self-sufficient for longer in their home environment.
