TENDER DESCRIPTION

1) Winter road maintenance services will consist in combating winter slipperiness caused by snowfall, snow with rain, including ice glaze caused by freezing rain (loading and material for combating winter slipperiness, i.e. salt or a sand-and-salt mixture—provided by the Contracting Authority) and snow removal of roads. Snow removal, including removal of snow and slush from roads, is intended to reduce disruptions to road traffic caused by such weather factors as snowfall, snowdrifts, and blizzards.
