At present, nuclear medicine in Bonn occupies a leading position nationally and internationally. With the fundamental adaptation of the existing building stock, an optimal process sequence can be achieved by linking the functional areas that already exist. In this way, the radionuclide laboratory can ensure the permanent supply of the most modern radiolabelled substances for diagnosis and therapy for patients. The new hot laboratory also enables the development and use of new radiopharmaceuticals for treatment. Module a) is used for the automated production of radiolabelled medicinal products for nuclear medicine diagnosis and therapy. The system carries out the individual production steps independently in a closed system and thereby contributes to consistently high production quality as well as to protecting staff from radioactive radiation. The system enables reproducible production of established standard radiopharmaceuticals and forms a central component of routine patient care as well as the development of new applications.
