TENDER DESCRIPTION

Umeå Municipality intends to procure a new IT solution for financial planning, analysis and management. The new solution shall provide the contracting authority with good conditions to work efficiently and strategically with forecasting, planning, budgeting and reporting. An important objective for the contracting authority is to be able to work data-driven. Another is to obtain control and oversight and to be able to ensure the quality of decision-making. Delivery shall take place on prem. Umeå Municipality intends to procure a user-friendly and robust budget and follow-up system that supports the budget registration process as well as the finance and personnel follow-up processes. The purpose is to ensure IT support that contributes to an efficient and high-quality way of working. The current agreement expires on 28 February 2027. Today, the budget and follow-up system is primarily used by managers/leaders and finance economists/controllers, but also by others who must follow up a budget against results, for example project managers and purchasing responsible chefs as well as HR strategists who need to view personnel information.
