Tagungen Natura 2000: Workshopreihe und Erfahrungsaustausch mit drei Veranstaltungen zu aktuellen Themen-bereichen von Natura 2000 mit Teilnehmern aus Deutschland und aus der EU

TENDER DESCRIPTION

After completion of the National FFH report 2025, three events will provide the opportunity to exchange experience on current topic areas of Natura 2000. It is planned, to provide specialist support for implementation, to hold a total of three workshops in the years 2026 - 2029. Current topic areas may include, among others: exchange of experience and further development for the fifth National Report under Article 17 of the FFH Directive; exchange of experience on updating management planning in Natura 2000 areas; presentation and discussion of new EU guidelines; exchange of experience on improving conservation status and on the requirements of the new EU Nature Restoration Regulation; exchange of experience on improving the assessment of characteristic species in habitats listed in Annex I (especially with regard to declines in insects); Natura 2000’s contribution to safeguarding biodiversity in Germany and Europe. The topic areas of the 3 individual one-day conferences will be set year by year, as needed and depending on their relevance.
