TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the procurement is endoscopic examinations to be performed for patients of the Central Ostrobothnia Wellbeing Services County, which include colonoscopies and gastroscopies. The service complements the wellbeing services county’s own operations and is provided by an external service provider. The contract period is three (3) years, and it includes an option to continue the contract for two (2) additional option periods of one (1) year each (1 + 1). In the procurement, one (1) service provider is selected. Implementation of the service: - The examinations are carried out in the premises of the service provider within the Soite area. - Patients are referred to the examinations based on the assessment of a specialist physician. - The examination price includes additional procedures (polypectomies, treatment of bleeding, ligation of haemorrhoids). - At least 90 % of the colonoscopies must reach as far as the caecum. - The examination uses carbon dioxide insufflation and, if necessary, intravenous sedation. - Interpretation of PAD (pathology anatomy disease) responses and planning of follow-up care are included in the service. - For significant findings, photographs…
