TENDER DESCRIPTION

Tuusula Municipality requests tenders for art procurement coordination services for the municipality’s area. The Rykmentinpuisto Art Programme and the Art Programme Steering Group: The steering group prepares and directs the methods and practices for art procurement in accordance with the art programme. It decides on artist selections and their criteria, the use of project appropriations, schedules and acts as a contracting party with the artists. In separate projects, the contracting party is the management of each project. The art coordinator acts as the secretary of the group and agrees with the chairperson on the work procedure. The art coordinator presents and implements alternative ways of carrying out art procurement in each case. The art coordinator acts as an advocate for the artist, the client and the practical matters related to the construction contract. The coordinator ensures communication in accordance with the contractors’ schedules. The duties also include preparing artist agreements.
