TENDER DESCRIPTION

Metsähallitus Metsätalous Oy requests tenders for stand tending, clearing and planting. The contract begins on 1.4.2027. The contract work sites are located mainly in the municipalities of Jämijärvi, Kankaanpää, Karvia and Parkano. The contracting areas are mainly in use by the Finnish Defence Forces and the Natural Resources Institute Finland. The work must be carried out in accordance with the service descriptions (appendices 1a-d) and the special instructions. In the work, the clarifying instructions provided by the aforementioned parties must be followed. The quantities in the invitation to tender are estimated average annual work volumes for the work types. The quantities of the work types vary significantly from year to year. The work is tendered such that during the entire term of the contract, it will nevertheless be possible to reach at least 90% of the contract’s estimated performance quantity. Planting is manual work by personnel. Stand tending and clearing can be carried out as manual work by personnel.
