TENDER DESCRIPTION

Metsähallitus Metsätalous Oy requests tenders for the tending of young stands, clearing and planting. The contract begins on 1.4.2027. The work sites for the batch are located mainly in the municipalities of Jämijärvi, Kankaanpää, Karvia and Parkano. The contracting areas are mainly in use by the Defence Forces and the Natural Resources Institute Finland. The work must be carried out in accordance with the service descriptions (appendices 1a–d) and the special instructions. During the work, the clarifying instructions issued by the above-mentioned parties must be followed. The amounts requested in the tender are estimated average annual work quantities for the work types. The quantities of the work types vary greatly from year to year. The work is offered in such a way that, during the entire term of the contract, at least 90% of the contract’s performance quantity estimate is achieved. Planting is labour-intensive (personnel work). Tending of young stands and clearing can be carried out as personnel work.
