TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Tampere organises annually large public events that are open to everyone and free of charge, where the number of participants typically ranges from 4,000 to 10,000 people. The events are mainly organised in Tampere, outdoors. The duration of the events may vary from a few hours for some events to multi-day implementations. Under the procurement, there are an estimated 3–5 major events per year. Such events include, for example, the opening ceremonies of the Valoviikot (Light Weeks), the Independence Day celebration, and the Filharmonia park concert. The need for major events in this procurement covers comprehensive event technology services. The Tenderer is expected to have expertise to plan and implement the technical implementation solutions required for the event, such as stage, lighting, IMAG, screens and other AV technology. In addition, the order may include lighting requirements related to enhancing the event’s atmosphere. The service provider is expected to take responsibility for the planning, assembly, dismantling and transport of the implemented service.
