TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Tampere organises every year large public events that are open to everyone and have no admission fee, where the number of participants typically ranges between 4,000 and 10,000 people. The events are mainly organised in Tampere, outdoors. The duration of the events may vary from events lasting a few hours to implementations spanning several days. On an annual basis, there are approximately 3–5 large events within the scope of the procurement. Such events include, for example, the opening ceremonies of the Valoviikot (Light Weeks), the Independence Day celebration, and the Filharmonia park concert. The need for comprehensive event technology services for large events covers the comprehensive event technology services. The Provider is expected to have expertise in planning and implementing the technical implementation solutions required for the event, such as stage, lighting, IMAG, screen and other AV technology. In addition, the order may include lighting needs related to enlivening the event.
