TENDER DESCRIPTION

The operational area of Kymenlaakson Jäte Oy is divided into three contract areas, which are further divided into smaller sub-contracts. The waste transportation contract for Mäntyharju is part of the waste transportation contracts of Kymenlaakson Jäte Oy. The Mäntyharju contract is tendered as a single entity, so the procurement is not divided into parts. The scope of the planned contract is sized so that it is estimated to require 2-3 waste trucks to manage. The whole contract is also suitable for micro and small enterprises to carry out independently (or as a consortium). The contracting authority has assessed the division of the procurement into parts in accordance with Section 75 of the Public Procurement Act. In this procurement, according to the assessment, dividing the contract would not increase the participation opportunities of micro-enterprises; rather, implementing the contract as a single entity supports efficient route planning, flexible use of equipment, and administratively clear implementation.
