TENDER DESCRIPTION

There are three contract areas within the service area of Kymenlaakson Jäte Oy, which are divided into smaller subcontracts. The Mäntyharju waste transportation contract is part of Kymenlaakson Jäte Oy's waste transportation contracts. The Mäntyharju contract is procured as a single whole, so the procurement is not divided into parts. The scope of the planned contract is sized so that its execution requires an estimated 2-3 waste trucks. The whole contract is also suitable for micro and small enterprises to be implemented independently (or as a consortium). The contracting authority has assessed the division of the procurement into parts according to section 75 of the Public Procurement Act. According to this assessment, dividing the contract would not increase participation opportunities for micro enterprises, but implementing the contract as a whole supports efficient route planning, flexible use of equipment, and administratively clear implementation.
