TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the procurement is the procurement of an investigation into the language model pilot in basic education by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The Ministry of Education and Culture will launch a language model pilot for basic education, scheduled to run between autumn 2026 and autumn 2027. In the pilot, a limited number of education providers will test the Sikt AI solution in basic education. The pilot’s primary purpose is, through the experiment, to collect information on the technical and pedagogical challenges and opportunities related to the use of the AI service and to deepen understanding of how the use of AI affects teaching and learning. This procurement concerns the investigation into the language model pilot. The monitoring of the pilot and the work related to the investigation will be carried out in parallel with the pilot. During the pilot, the implementers of this investigation will collect material for the investigation.
