TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject matter of the procurement is a framework arrangement for tree care work in the built environment for the period 2026-2030 in the City of Lahti. The care work includes, for example, the following tasks: - structural pruning cuts for young and maturing trees - maintenance pruning cuts for mature trees - maintenance pruning cuts for old trees - special pruning cuts such as pruning into shape and reducing the crown - condition assessments - tree removal - crown supports for trees - stump grinding - transport services related to tree care and felling services In addition, we request a tender for the removal off-site of material accumulated during the work using a truck equipped with a brush/brush-grab skip (risukouru), and for consultancy services, for example for assessing the need for tree care. The subject matter of the procurement is described in more detail in the appendix “General contract terms, Tree care in the built environment”. The work shall be billed on an hourly basis as time-and-materials work unless otherwise stated.
