TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Lohja requests tenders for passenger transport service with one bus/private taxi for the period 19.10.2026 – 4.5.2027. With the transport operating service, statutory school journey transport for students of basic education is primarily handled within the City of Lohja’s student catchment area (Lohja, Vihti, Inkoo, Siuntio, in part Raasepori). The bus to be tendered will operate mainly within the City of Lohja’s student catchment area, but the transport may also include longer-distance transports, e.g. in respect of students of special schools such as Keinumäki in Espoo, Tammipuisto in Raasepori. For this contract, it is also intended to transport students whom the city considers to require exceptional arrangements based on the location of where they need to be picked up, the timetable, or the rolling stock. Students’ transport needs may be short-term or long-term. In addition to school-journey students, the transport may also include other passengers designated by the contracting authority.
