TENDER DESCRIPTION
The subject of the contract is the design, manufacture, supply and handover of technology for drying wet process gas containing sulphur dioxide. The technology will be based on two-stage removal of moisture from the process gas. In the first stage, the process gas will be cooled in the condensation section in order to condense a substantial part of the contained water. In the second stage, the remaining moisture will be removed by absorption drying in a filled drying tower, where the gas will be routed in counter-current to the circulating concentrated sulphuric acid. The sulphuric acid will ensure the absorption of water vapour from the gas. The acid concentration will be maintained by adding 98% sulphuric acid and removing sulphuric acid with a target concentration of 96.5 mass%, diluted with water absorbed from the process gas. The technology will be supplied as two pre-assembled skid units: • condensation skid, • drying-tower skid. Included in the supply of the skids will be process equipment, piping, valves and fittings, instrumentation, supporting structures, cabling and electrical interconnections within the scope of the skid units, technical documentation and expert…
