TENDER DESCRIPTION

The substations Mainzer Straße (UW 11), Rathaus (UW 12) and Hauptbahnhof (UW 13) form part of the 750-V DC rail power supply of Saarbahn Netz GmbH. Due to the discontinuation of essential electrical engineering components and the limited availability of spare parts, modernization and partial refurbishment measures are required for the DC switchgear, the control and remote control technology, and the auxiliary services. The aim of the measure is to ensure, in the long term, the operational and supply reliability of the systems. The services in particular include the replacement of selected switchgear components, control and signaling devices, as well as adjustments to the power supply facilities. Further details regarding the scope of services, the technical requirements and the conditions for execution can be found in the tender documents and/or the bill of quantities (LV).
