Knappschaft Kliniken Bottrop GmbH, Osterfelder Str. 157, 46242 Bottrop intends to carry out the expansion and modernisation of neurological early rehabilitation in the ground floor of the main building in a former ward area. The modernisation of neurological early rehabilitation serves to expand and qualitatively improve the neurological treatment spectrum of Knappschaft Kliniken Bottrop. The objective of the measure is to create a contemporary and functionally optimised ward that meets the special requirements of neurological early rehabilitation. The planning takes into account, in particular, short routes for nursing and therapy services, clear orientation within the ward, and the creation of a therapeutic environment for patients. By reorganising the functional areas, both operational processes are optimised and quality of stay is improved. The measure is an important building block for the future-oriented further development of the hospital site. An increase in the building stock is not part of this planning.
