Start Your Own Business - SYOB

The contract timeline is as follows:

• Start Date: January 1st, 2027.
• Total Duration: The panel will be established for two years, with an option for a third year.
• End Date: The panel will be in place until December 31st, 2028, with a possible extension to December 31st, 2029.

The core scope of work for this tender is to establish a panel of suitably qualified and experienced training providers. These providers will deliver future training programmes, workshops, seminars, mentoring, and business development supports to clients of Local Enterprise Office Longford. The panel is intended to operate for a two-year period, from January 1, 2027, to December 31, 2028, with a potential extension to December 31, 2029.

The training services required encompass a broad spectrum of business topics, including but not limited to: start-up support, business growth, management development, digitalisation, sustainability, sales and marketing, financial management, innovation, and other areas pertinent to small businesses and entrepreneurs. Specifically mentioned is the "Start Your Own Business" (SYOB) programme. Training can be delivered either onsite (in-person) or offsite (remotely) using video conferencing tools, with sessions scheduled during daytime or evening, Monday to Friday.

Core deliverables and responsibilities for the trainers include providing all necessary and suitable training materials and handouts, as well as adhering to LEO Longford Branding by displaying LEO logos on all relevant documentation. Trainers are also required to provide detailed reports for each course or workshop delivered, which must include the course brief, dates, attendance records, and feedback sheets. The preparation of these training courses, workshops, and reports is to be undertaken in the trainer’s own time. There is also a possibility that follow-up sessions for participants may be requested.

Applicants are required to provide fully inclusive rates, exclusive of VAT, for both onsite and offsite training, specifying hourly, half-day, and full-day rates. It is important to note that inclusion on the panel does not guarantee any minimum level of work, as assignments are contingent on client needs, budgetary constraints, and the requirements of LEO Longford. This tender is for the provision of a service and does not lead to a contract of employment with LEO Longford. Applicants have the option to tender for one or up to a maximum of five lots.
