TENDER DESCRIPTION

Priority Actions I and II focus on strengthening the energy self-sufficiency of the islands through the use of Renewable Energy Sources (RES). In particular, they include the installation of photovoltaic systems in combination with energy storage systems in batteries, the development of RES stations and the installation of hybrid RES systems. Their common objective is to increase the production of clean energy, to make more effective use of it in final consumption and to reduce the islands’ dependence on conventional energy sources, through investment incentives and support programmes.
