TENDER DESCRIPTION

BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH intends to award civil engineering and pipe-laying works for the renovation and capacity expansion of a district heating main in Lietzenburger Straße in Berlin. The section of the route to be renovated comprises a length of approximately 950 m between Sächsische Straße and Rankestraße, including the associated service connections to buildings and distribution lines. In the section between Knesebeckstraße and Fasanenstraße, the works will be carried out jointly with NBB Netzgesellschaft Berlin-Brandenburg. This requires the renovation and partial realignment of an existing gas pipeline DN 800 in order to create the necessary construction clearance for strengthening the district heating main.
